Kanae has advocated for knowledge sharing and critical care scholars for over two decades.  She started her professional career in healthcare as a medic in the Army.  This opportunity began her love of intensive care nursing.  Following her military career, she earned her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dalton State and the University of West Georgia, respectively.  Most recently, Kanae finished a Master’s Science of Nursing in nursing informatics from Chamberlain University.  Kanae is a Clinical Solutions Delivery Consultant for Philips Healthcare.  In her free time, Kanae enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, and cooking.

James Ted is the Chief Nursing Officer of AdventHealth Manchester. He graduated from Chattanooga Community College receiving his ASN, his BSN, and MSN for ETSU and DNP from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He most recently served as Director of Nursing for the AdventHealth Heart of Florida campus and has served in multiple leadership roles with a focus on business evaluation and development, quality improvement, patient experience, and employee engagement. In his free time, James Ted loves to be outdoors and enjoys gardening, beekeeping, and bicycling.
